	Batman - The Movie This movie takes us back to a time when we weren't afraid to have superheros who looked remarkly like ordinary guys in odd-looking spandex outfits. Originally released in 1964, this movie is an extended version of the campy 1960s television show.
	Moonstruck A funny, insightful movie with some of the most interesting and colorful characters you'll ever see. Also, the audio commentary on the DVD shows that for all her acting and singing gifts, Cher just aint that bright.
	Raising Arizona The first 5 minutes maybe some of the funniest in the history of movies. Nichola Cage, Holly Hunter and John Goodman create odd and delightful characters embroiled in a odd and complicated plot.
	The Godfather DVD Collection The Godfather set a new standard for movies. Godfather II showed that a sequal can be as good as the original. Godfather III showed that you can make two really great movies and then one that sucks.
	Fargo More odd characters from the Coen brothers. A must see for people interested in learning to mock peole from the upper Midwest!
	This Is Spinal Tap (Special Edition) This DVD contains the equivalent of three really funny movies. Movie #1 is the original release--the funniest movie ever made about rock and roll. Movie #2 is the movie with commentary from the actors in character complaining about how stupid the director (Rob Reiner as Marty DeBerg) makes them look. Movie #3 is the extensive collection of outtakes that results from the fact that the movie was mostly improvised. Make sure to catch Billy Crystal as a the head of a catering service run by mimes ("Shut up and eat").
	Best in Show Another great movie that was largely improvisational. The great cast includes Christopher Guest (who also directed) Parker Posey, Michael Hitchcock, Eugene Levy, Fred Willard and Catherine O'Hara,
	The Jerk This movie demonstrates how truly clueless white guys can be.
	Saving Private Ryan Some movies are so good I have trouble watching them more than once. From all the accounts I've heard, this is the movie that best reflects the experience of serving in World War II. Based largely on Stephen Ambrose's historical accounts of the D-Day invasion. This movie should be required viewing for people who watch too many John Wayne movies and consider war glamorous.
	The Princess Bride An odd little fairy tale with a great cast. One of those movies that three generations of my family can sit down and watch. My daughter finds it enchanting while my wife and I can't stop laughing. Director Rob Reiner brings together Peter Falk, Fred Savage, Mandy Patinkin, Wallace Shawn, Andre the Giant, Christopher Guest, Chris Sarandon, Peter Falk, Billy Crystal and Carol Kane.
